First Week of School Success and the Flyer Friday Tradition Continues 🏫✏️🚌📓😊

Thank you to all our families for partnering with us in your child's education. We are grateful. Prior to this week, our custodians, secretaries, kitchen staff, teachers, administrators, classroom aides, health aides, ambassadors, monitors, and all our employees worked together to create a strong start to the new year.
 
Last week, August 11-14, before your children arrived on our campuses, staff worked throughout the district to ensure we were ready for students. On Friday, August 14, the entire Fortuna Elementary School District team gathered as one district for collaboration, lunch, and focused work connected to our Strategic Plan 2025-2030. Together, we explored specific actions supporting student achievement, student wellness, family and community engagement, staffing, and financial stewardship.

We are guided by our vision: Every student is nurtured, supported, and empowered to thrive. The hard work
 paid off as we had a fantastic first week of the 2026-27 year with our new and returning students!
