OUR MISSION
Connect families in the Fortuna Elementary School District and members of the Fortuna community with resources and services to improve the health and well-being of adults and children.
Services we offer:
- Assistance with CalFresh application (formerly called the food stamp program)
- Help finding affordable housing
- Support with Medi-Cal application
- Transportation assistance
- Information on community events for children and families
- Assistance and information for homeless families
- Aid with completing job applications and employment
- Case management services
- Se habla español
We can also provide referrals to local agencies for the following:
- Food assistance
- Family counseling
- Newcomer and immigrant services
- Nutrition
- Pregnancy
- Domestic violence
- Youth services
- Foster care recruitment and support
- Support groups
- Parenting classes
