✨ Feel the Power Assembly at Fortuna Middle School! ✨

On Thursday, Sept. 4, our 7th & 8th graders attended a powerful assembly with motivational speaker John Pritikin. Diagnosed with a severe learning disability and bullied as a child, John shared his journey of perseverance and hope. He reminded students that each of them is valuable, has a purpose, and can overcome challenges. He talked about the power of words and the importance of being kind to others.

Students and staff were touched, and many lined up afterward to meet John, share their stories, and take photos. His mix of inspiring words and incredible feats of strength (like shredding a book, breaking a bat, and bending a pan!) made the message unforgettable.
